UR- CAVM hosts the 6th Capital Market University Challenge (CMUC) on 13th March 2019 at Busogo campus. The aim of the CMUC is to create public awareness among youth on how Capital Market Authority (CMA), encourage them to the culture of saving and invest to preserve the future financial.
In her opening remarks Dr Laetitia Nyinawamwiza, the Principal of CAVM encourages students to start saving from few living allowances they are regularly paid, she also requested the representative of CMA to maintain the good relationship with CAVM.” We have been winning almost every year in this competition, we want to raise new stars from CAVM today” She said.
Students from CAVM demonstrate knowledge on Capital Market Industry through an interactive competition. Among 22 teams registered for competition, each team is composed by 2 persons, the first three teams are awarded and all participating students at the end of the competition will be awarded with certificate of attendance.
The overall winner is the team of two girls from the department of crop Science UMUBYEYI Beni Raissa and UMUTONI Adeline from the department of crop science.
