Focal point for the UR Fish farming and research station (UR-FFRS), and facilitator of research activities in the UR-FFRS including various services to the community (training farmers in various aquaculture practices), coordinating projects and research projects such as currently : CARP, ECOLIT, and ARES projects.

Position
Senior-Lecturer, Focal person for UR-Fish farming and Research station, Coordinator of UR-ARES partnership project, and Team leader Agriculture/UR-Sweden Program.
Description of the Job
- Teaching in 3 modules new program Aquaculture &Fisheries Management (AFM), in 1 module in Animal
Production (Aquatic resources management), and 1 module in Veterinary Medicine departments
(Aquaculture),
– Supervision of Students’ research projects : PhD, MSc, and BSc levels
–  Researcher of the Integrated Agric-Aqua (IAA system), Ecological Functioning of Lakes, Domestication of new species in Rwanda Aquaculture,
– Principal Investigator for projects : ECOLIT, SUSFISH (REMA) ; CARP project (NCST).
– Writing research grants to fund students’ research projects.
–  Coordination of UR-ARES project (Partnership UR & Several French speaking universities in Belgium) for capacity building.
– Management and monitoring of Research activities of the UR-Fish Farming Research Station,
–  Coordinator of UR-Sweden program funded activities in Agriculture mainly the implementation of the RBM logical framework including Facilitation and coordination of PhD research activities, Development of new program, …
Publication status
– 13 Publications (2 publications + 1 paper submitted in 2023).
