(1) I hold a PhD in Plant & Soil Science- Major, Plant Protection, Aberdeen University (UK) ; a Master of Advanced Studies in Integrated Crop Management, Neuchatel University (Switzerland), a MSc in Crop Science- Major in Agricultural Entomology Makerere University (Uganda) ; a BSc in Crop Production and Horticulture, University of Rwanda. (2) Am a hardened, highly motivated and passionate professional in Higher Learning Education, Research, Technology Transfer & Consultancy in Agriculture for over 13 years. (3) I believe in research and community outreach as key pillars of interactive teaching and learning and I built this while serving as Director of Research, Consultancy & Cooperation whereby I gained a wide experience in interacting with local population including farmers. (4) I’ve got expertise in Plant Protection, Pesticide Science, Technology & Management, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Integrated Crop Management (ICM) ranging from soil, seed, fertilizers, water and policy consideration while taking into account ecosystem functions and services towards Conservation Agriculture and Systems Thinking. (5) I’ve got commendable skills in experiential learning centred at demonstrating technical skills and mentoring learners. (6) I am capable of delivering on assigned tasks at the highest level. (7) I have first-rate organizational skills and the ability to produce consistently high standard work. (8) I’ve developed capacity to work with international development organizations (SNV, CGIAR/Bioversity International, CARE International, and FAO) and Government Institutions (MINAGRI, RAB, NAEB, RICA, RSB, FDA). (9) With excellent interpersonal skills, I am an effective team player and am capable of engaging and liaising with a broad range of individuals from a variety of backgrounds. (10) My professional experience to date has provided me a wealth of skills and experience and I am committed to facing fresh challenges and to pursue my future career goals.
