KEY ACHIEVEMENT S (2021/ 2022)
• We elaborated on the project of entrepreneurship Ecosystem already approved by the
college Management ;
• During 2021/2022, we served 608 students who benefited from career guidance services
(unit).
• They benefited from general career guidance services as well as specialized coaching in
employability, and entrepreneurship skills as well as a mentorship program.
✓ Students were coached in employability skills for 3 full months (from April to
June 2022) ; and we entrepreneurship skills for 1 year.
✓ Students participated in 2 International mentorships on Entrepreneurship (under the
lead of Grow Movement and Rwandamart)
We visited Successful entrepreneurs whose businesses are nurtured at UR-CAVM and link
them to other experts from partner organizations for advanced advice or mentorship.
• We organized the UR-CAVM Entrepreneurship Week activities in June from 27th-30th,
2022 (Bootcamp and close event on 30th June 2022)
• We organized the UR-CAVM Career week event : where we organized a workshop for
working on program benchmarking of Career Guidance, entrepreneurship & Employability
on June 20 -22 ending with the overall event of the CAVM-Career fair on 23rd, 2022.
• We have developed the UR-CAVM Career Portal trough which all information will be
shared.
PROJECT S & INCUBAT ION
The college assisted a total of 117 student projects including 80 new projects
nurtured for 2021-2022, and 37 projects from the previous year 2020-2021.
• Among them 48 best projects were selected to follow the incubator program in
2022-2023 through UR_CAVM Envisage Agribusiness Incubator during 2021/2022
with a total of 267. Among these 48 projects, 20 projects were hosted in the
Bootcamp from 27-29June,2022 and are now following the coaching and
mentorship for growing their business as 2
nd batch.
