Under the Principal Office, lead the UR-Busogo Campus Public relations& Community Engagement Office. It has a mission to organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media and the Public.
The goal of PR within the University is to build and sustain a good image for the University and be able to manage a communication crisis, should it arises. Other tasks include :
• Working on the website, producing content for promotional materials for both external and internal distribution.
• Cultivating a positive image for the University through Publicity campaigns and PR activity.
• Create social media content and blog posts.
• Dealing with inquiries form staff, students, alumni and friends, media, public and related organizations.
• Prepare and post reports on success stories through proper channels of communication.
• Organizing and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours& visits.
