MSc in Crop Sciences

Campus, mode of attendance, and language of instruction

Courses will be delivery at Busogo Campus on a full-time basis. English is the language of instruction in all the MSc programmes.

Admission Requirements

The minimum entry qualifications are:

1.   Masters in Crop Sciences:

i. Bachelor’s degree in Crop Sciences, Soil Sciences, Agronomy and other related field from a recognized university, with Second class upper division or equivalent.

ii. Proof of English language proficiency

iii. Ability to work independently as well as to work in a team.

Mode of Payment

Tuition fee for the whole programme payable by semester instalments is as follows:

1.   National and East African Community students: is Rwf 3,000,000.

2.   International students: Rwf 3,600,000

Mode of Application

All applications should be done online using the “Students’Portal link on  www.ur.ac.rw and clicking on

“New  Application”.  The  student  will  pay  after  getting  a  reference  number  which  is  generated

automatically. After online application, hard copies of application file are to be submitted to the Office of the  Registrar (UR-CAVM) at BUSOGO Campus, and soft copies to :jeandone0@gmail.com with copies to guillaumenyagatare@gmail.com; and  simon.rt@gmail.com; under the subject:  Application for MSc program in UR-CAVM.
